Relevant Experiences
This is a compilation of my relevant experiences including academics, leadership positions, and internships.
Tuckernuck - HQ Brand Marketing Intern

After working in the Flagship Store, I moved in-house as an intern. My seven-month internship duties consisted of competitive research, influencer relationships, social media posting, and in-store events. This allowed me to bridge my store experience with marketing which provided me an all-encompassing view on the brand.
Sorority President

I became interested in Greek Life after working at AU's Center for Student Involvement. In Spring 2022, I joined Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority and the following year I became President. During my term I resolved conflicts, led an executive board, coordinated with National members and FSL staff, approved and oversaw fundraising and philanthropic events, led weekly Chapter meetings, and spoke at the AEPhi National Convention. I believe this experience has prepared me the most for professional life.
Tuckernuck - Flagship Store Stylist

I worked in this role for about a year and half, building a high-end client base, meeting sales goals like UPT (units per transaction) and AOV (average order value), and offering one-on-one styling appointments. This reinforced my retail knowledge after being a Walmart associate and gave me better insight on the corporate to storefront connection.
AU SOC Student

Studying at a top-ranked communications university, I have been introduced to industry professionals, built a PR toolkit, and been taught tangible concepts that have prepared me for real-world job experiences. See my portfolio for content. (SOC3 class pictured).
Commonwealth PR & Marketing

This past summer, I interned at Commonwealth PR, where I refined my media relations and content creation skills. I pitched reporters, managed client social calendars, and crafted PRSA award-winning blog content using AI tools like ChatGPT. I also gained hands-on experience with media monitoring and press materials. A highlight was attending the PRSA awards, where my firm won "Best in Show."
ChangeMakers USA (Formerly Argyle)

At ChangeMakers USA, a crisis and reputation management firm, I’m gaining a new perspective on PR through issues reporting and media tracking. I support a diverse range of clients—from nonprofits to international government offices—by conducting media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and crisis alerts. I also leverage Meltwater and Boolean search to extract actionable insights and have worked on trauma-informed communication and crisis preparedness training. I also received the American University School of Communication's Dean's Internship Award for my experience at ChangeMakers in the Fall 2024 semester.
